Over the course of their combined 50+ year commercial banking careers, CCP Co-founders, Rob Farmer and Rick Jones, both former community development real estate bankers, realized that usually the highest hurdle in getting transactions underwritten, closed and funded for their clientele – community developers, faith-based and other non-profit organizations – was the soundness of the financing request presented rather than the actual viability of the community development projects themselves. Furthermore, if a financing structure was requested (in many instances the client simply sought the money without in-depth thought as to pricing, amortization, etc.) it usually was less attractive than the market offered.
As a result, CCP was established to provide financing advisory and capital placement services to that endeavor to develop either non-profit controlled, owner-occupied or investment real estate primarily, but not exclusively, in CRA/LMI census tracts throughout the United States. With longstanding relationships with capital providers (debt and equity), CCP has enjoyed tremendous success in structuring real estate financing transactions and placing capital with the most favorable terms and most steadfast execution of closings in the community development marketplace.
